http://generation-xtoday.com/ I have been working mostly as a legal assistant, but I would like to transit to the area of communications, and have wanted to for some time. As far as ability to write marketing content, I have writing courses from several institutions, including a degree from the University of Derby. I've had poetry published and have worked as a freelance journalist before. I took a copywriting course at SFU continuing education, and also a technical writing class at BCIT.

I am from the lower mainland originally, but I lived in the UK for 16 years. While in England I worked in a PR office for a few months. I moved on to work in the Planning Department of the local council and from there I was seconded to the Press Office. Last year I did some marketing writing for Axis Impact Marketing. 

I am looking for the opportunity to work in PR/advertising in Vancouver, even if it is an entry level type position. I would say my skills are strong on the writing and client relation side.

I have around two years of PR work, and my writing skills are probably intermediate. I am familiar with all of the social media platforms. Thanks in advance for reading my application and hope you are having a good day.
