What’s the difference?
An editorial calendar is an annual plan shared with a wide audience and the content calendar is a document that tracks the day-to-day progress of publications on one or more platforms.
✤ An Editorial Calendar highlights overarching themes and special issues/opportunities for monthly publications to help advertisers buy relevant space.
✤ A Content Calendar tracks the status and progress of each piece of content usually at a daily or weekly level.
