Throughout Carers Week 2015 Carers Oxfordshire are going to be touring Oxfordshire in #Myrtle the
VW Campervan.
Carers Oxfordshire team members will be onboard
to provide advice, information and raise the profile of carers.
Come along to one of the following locations to meet #Myrtle and collect free
information and promotional merchandise.

10.00 - 16.00 Carers Oxfordshire representative manning the Information
Stand at Sainsbury’s, Bicester.
13.00 - 15.00 Headway Oxfordshire are hosting a carers tea at Age UK, White Lion Walk, Banbury. Information and advice will be provided
from Headway and Carers Oxfordshire representatives.
18.30 - 20.00 A relaxing evening of pampering and therapies for carers at The Highlands Day Centre, 73 Burford Road, Chipping Norton. There will be Indian Head Massage, Hand Massage, Music Therapy, Organic therapies and mindfulness taster sessions along with refreshments. Pharmacy Campaign 2015
Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council Public Health and Carers Oxfordshire are working together to further support the relationship between carers and pharmacies and will hopefully launch a new venture for Carers Week. 10.30 - 14.00 ‘Because I’m Worth It’ Older Carers Day event at West Oxford Community Centre, Botley, Oxford. Creating time and space to explore how we can create wellbeing in our lives as older carers. Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided. Aimed particularly at older carers of people with learning disabilities but all older carers are welcome. Places are limited so please book in

Age UK Oxfordshire and Carers Oxfordshire are teaming up to host six Carers Cream Teas for Older Carers Day. Refreshments will all be provided. The local MP’s have also been invited to attend the Cream
Teas.
Are you a carer over the age of 50? Join us at your local colossal cream
tea to celebrate National Older Carers Day!
