ACEA Specifications

TOTALs range of oils appropriately surpasses the stringent requirements developed by the

Association of Constructors of European Automobiles (ACEA). This is the authorised trade

association of the European vehicle manufacturers, and is essentially concerned with co-ordinating

quality standards. The achievements of the ACEA standards for service-fill engine oils are a prime

example of how the consumer benefits by being able to buy better quality products.

API Specifications

Standards and tests are set by the American Petroleum Institute to ensure that appropriate engine

oils perform in accordance with the requirements of vehicles currently in production.

These requirements change as applications develop.

QUARTZ 7000 SAE 10W-40 API SJ/CF. ACEA A3/B3 Approvals: PSAPeugeot Citroen, VW 505.00/500.00,

MB 229.1.

Synthetic based multi-grade oil for petrol and diesel engines,

including turbo-charged and multi-valved engines. For severe

operating conditions. Compatible with all vehicles equipped with

catalysts and using unleaded fuels.

QUARTZ 5000 DIESEL SAE 15W-40 API CF. ACEA B2 Approvals: PSA PeugeotCitroen Diesel.

Multi-grade oil for diesel engines of cars and light industrial

vehicles. For normal operating conditions. Suited to

turbo-charged diesel engines.
