The multi-use gymnasium is another healthy, active opportunity for the community of Quinte to experience. The gym is used for a variety of sports so if you’re into basketball, volleyball or almost anything else you can be sure you’ll find it at the Wellness Centre gymnasium. There is a pull down wall the separates the gym into two sections making it feasible to play more than one sport at any given time.

The Wellness Centre is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. The peak hours are usually on weekends. If you need to enjoy yourself on the weekend this is a great place to be. There’s even a café and courtyard to socialize when not being active or watching sports.

The Wellness Centre runs senior activity classes and meet ups. These give people who aren’t necessarily mobile a chance to get out of the house and meet new people and have a good time without any issues.

fresh air while eating lunch or taking a break

from a workout.

Heat is re-used throughout the facility. The swimming area is toasty warm as air is filtered from other parts of the QWC.
