Navigation SystemA drop-down menu on the column has been inserted in the Topshop website which makes it easier for the consumer to find what they are looking for more easier.
The drop-down menu is also an advantage for the website as it includes a wide range of trends for example seasonal fashion trends and also range trends.
A column has been included on the website so it is easier for the consumer to navigate around the website and find exactly what they are looking for.
Social network links has also been included, again it makes it easier for the consumer to navigate to their chosen social networking website.
CSS/Theme
As you can see, the two images I have chosen from existing fashion websites (Asos and Topshop) show a similar theme has been used. Black and white with bold font is a professional and easy look for a website.
Target AudiencesAge: 16-late 20’sThe images chosen for the website helps to suggest that target audience are in fact around the same age group as the girl promoting the clothing brand.
Gender: Female – again the images and clothes that are being sold are made to attract and to sell for a female target audience
Lifestyle: Outgoing – people who enjoy to shop. Maybe people who do not have time to go out and shop (business type)
Preferences: high street, unique fashion sense
Layout
The images of different existing websites shows above, shows that there is a horizontal column of links places at the top centre of the website. This is so the consumer can go directly to the place they are looking for as soon as they have entered the website. Mine will be similar.
