The Goal:Adding a stone patio and stairs to a St. Charles home, and completing the look with landscaping that would make the yard a standout.

Starting with a blank “canvas” we installed a free-form stone patio and added elegant curved stairs to connect the home to a great outdoor space.

A stone “wall” adds interest and definition to the space…

The area around the patio was graded and seamlessly connects to the rest of the plantings around the house.

Decorative plants, grasses, shrubs and bushes were carefully chosen.

It won’t be long before the plantings fill in, giving the area a polished look…

As the day ends, the area has become a pleasant and inviting spot … perfect for a family barbeque or a neighborhood get together.
