I consider myself as lucky to live in a world where quantummechanics, hippies, science, information technology andoddball philosophers arereadily available.

I also appreciate that subversivethoughts are not considered illegal (yet).

-Sorry, Alice. There will be no mentioning of Schrödinger's dog.

Before we begin...

Put your swimsuit on...

...we're going to dive into the sea of strange assumptions...

1. there is no spoon

-Ok with me. As long as there is tuna.Have you been smoking catnip again?

The spoon might be there, but there is no way to be sure.

If you like spoons, knock yourself out. If not, well thereis none, right?!

Page 6: My philosophy

“My goal is to try to get people into a state of generalized agnosticism, not agnosticism about God alone, but agnosticism about everything.” -Robert Anton Wilson

-Oh hai! I'm Schroedinger's invizibul, white ninjakitteh! I'm so invizibul that I don't even exist...maybe

Page 7: My philosophy

“I think, therefore I am?” ..I think not!

-I think, therefore I'm hungry, dude!

Page 8: My philosophy

The being that 'I' seem to refer to as 'I' seems to be convinced of its own existence, therefore 'I' have prejudices regarding my own existence.

-Can you have some prejudice aboutbringing me some food too, plz?

Page 9: My philosophy

Who is the masterwho makes the grass green?

-I'm not sure. But I'll bet your garden hose helps.

Observation is not a passive process. Every sensory input is interpreted and manipulated by your brain and sensory organs.

Do you think that it is possible to separate the external worldfrom your interpretation of it?

Page 10: My philosophy

...so, there is no spoon!

-Ah. I get it.There is no spoon, since there is no 'is',right?! Ok. Bring tuna naow, plz!

Page 11: My philosophy

2. information is life

-Whoa dude! That's deep

What is the difference between genes and memes...really?

Page 12: My philosophy

What is lifeif not simply a matter of prejudice?

All we know are prejudices.

Perhaps we should choose them wisely. -Edible?!

Page 13: My philosophy

Consider this:The fundamental building blocks of our reality are not particles or energy, but information.

Page 14: My philosophy

Perhaps god is to be found in white noise, in the decimals of pi, or in quantization errors? Entropy could be god aging?

-Oh Hai! Check out my string theory; It's sneaky!

Page 15: My philosophy

communication facilitates evolution

-Life wants to live! Information wants to be free! And all your cheese are belong to Kurt!

Better!Faster!Stronger!

Page 16: My philosophy

3. reality is not binary

-It's just a matter of perspective, silly. Send my regards to Schrödinger's cat, he is/was a cool dude.

Null-A logicis true!

Why notgive it a trytoday!

Page 17: My philosophy

Realitiesare likeespressomachines -Everybody'sgot one!

-I'll burst your reality bubblez!

Page 18: My philosophy

Summary:

1. There is no spoon

2. Information is life

3. The world is not

binary

-And there is no 'is', dude. *doublefacepalm*

Page 19: My philosophy

Three simple rules

Everybody has their own prejudice regarding reality – Seek to understand, not to control!

Just because you have chosen a path does not mean that it is for everyone – Show respect!

You cannot fly with both feet firmly on the ground - Dare to let go every now and then!
