EXPERIENCE: One of my greatest learning experiences was not in a classroom, but rather in a foreign country. On my mission trip to Costa Rica I knew zero Spanish and the family we were helping build a home for knew zero English. Through working together, and lots of patience, I learned that communication is so much more than speaking words.
