OPPOSING VIEWS

• Your significant other may not feel that the media is 100% biased

• They may not realize all of the positive situations that guns had played a part into

• Always make sure that you start the conversation with how they feel about you carrying a pistol

• If they are morally against firearms it may be an uphill battle

MORAL BELIEFS

• If the main reason is that they feel guns are morally wrong, don’t expect that they will give up their views easily.

• One option to take is to dismiss their views completely and carry a gun regardless

• This option is not advised as it is a quick way to throw your relationship out of the window.

ROOT CAUSES

• Instead of explaining your views about concealed carry, ask about theirs

• Try to find out where their beliefs stem from• Did someone they know get shot?• Did their parents emphasize “guns are bad”?

• This is not a debate you are simply trying to learn
