The Verve
It was surprising that the only small car of note introduced at the show was the Ford Verve, whose size falls into what the auto industry calls the B-class. The Verve is aimed at fighting American stereotypes about econoboxes and hatchbacks. The Verve’s grille and profile are in the shape of a trapezoid. The BMW X6 won an Eyes on Design award for best production truck, although BMW's designers did not consider their creations to be trucks. Toyota Venza
The Venza is about the length of the Highlander and will be available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Many of the mechanical underpinnings come from the Avalon sedan. A new 2.7-liter four-cylinder will be available,
