Best Practices

Don’t use a personal checking account Use a dedicated or low traffic email account Automatically forward transaction emails to at least two people

on the unit Committee Use a recognizable name for your mobile payment account

– For example “Troop xxx Austin” Use a strong, unique password for the mobile payment account Require a separate PIN for any refunds Build a list of items to sell in your mobile payment account Set up “Mobile Staff” if multiple people are selling with Square

– Better security and reports of who sold what Give yourself time to get everything working
