Life before Apple :

In 1972 attended auditing classes at Reed College in Portland, Oregon

In 1974, Jobs travelled to India in search of spiritual enlightenment

In 1975 Job’s first real computer job came working for Atari computers.

Steve Jobs and Apple :

In 1976, Wozniak invented the first Apple I computer. Jobs, Wozniak and Ronald Wayne then set up Apple computers

In 1984, Jobs designed the first Macintosh

In 1977, Jobs and Wozniak introduced the Apple II

In 1985, removed from his managerial duties, Jobs resigned and left Apple5/24/2015


Life After Apple :

On leaving Apple, Jobs founded NeXT computers.

In 1986, Jobs bought The Graphics Group laterrenamed it Pixar

Toy Story (1995);A Bug's Life (1998); Toy Story 2 (1999); Monsters, Inc. (2001); Finding Nemo (2003); The Incredibles (2004); Cars (2006); Ratatouille (2007); WALL-E (2008); Up (2009); and Toy Story 3 (2010)



Return to Apple : In 1996, Apple bought NeXT for $429 millions. Jobs returned to Apple as interim CEO

From bankruptcy to profitability

Introduced revolutionary product such as iPod, iPhone, iPad and Macbook


Jobs Wealth :

Jobs earned only $1 a year as CEO of Apple. But, share options from Apple and Disney gave him an estimated fortune of $8.3billion, making him the 42nd-wealthiest American in 2010

Jobs Health :

In October 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with cancerHe died of respiratory arrest related to the tumour on October 5, 2011.
