Throughout all of the difficulties our community and people have faced – we have proven our resiliency with a vibrant sense of humour & wit. I know I have demonstrated my advocacy for our members, my long serving stability, optimism and my love for our community. It’s also been demonstrated that any benefits I seek are sought for our community and never for myself as an individual – an important thing to factor in when choosing a leader. LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

• Focus on the real issues - not the theatrics of infighting politics – people waste time trying to tarnish the image of others in an attempt to make themselves look better. – We have to work with one another, why ruin the relationship before it might begin.

• Mattagami has proven that it values stability and integrity – we have a vast traditional knowledge and need to respect those non-conventional education systems of traditional wisdom as an important approach to our cultural integrity.

• Rise up and stand for the best interest of the community. That means the community’s priorities.

• Any fighting should be to increase our members rights, our community’s rights – not selfish motivation.
