SHAHHED BHAGAT SINGH
INTRODUCTION
Shaheed Bhagat Singhji was born on28 September 1907,in Lallpur, inPunjab, but now it is the part ofPakistan.
He has been entitled as shaheedwhich means a great soul or martyr.
He lived a short but worth full life,he passed at the age of 23 on 23rdmarch 1931.
FAMILY
BHAGAT SINGH was born in “SANDHU” family ,atribe found in Punjab.
Son of Sardar Kishan Singh Sandhu and vidhyavati,he was their 2nd child.

He was deeply touched by theincident of “JALIANWALA BAGH”.
He went to that spot andcollected soil in his lunch box andkept it as a memory for life.
At the age of 13 Bhagat Singhjoined Ghandhiji in his non-cooperation movement.

He was a very effectiveperson he motivated the youthto participate in revolution.
He was the founder ofHSRS i.e. Hindustan SocialistRepublican Association.
COURAGEOUS
BOMBARDING IN ASSEMBLY:-
He was against the policy called ‘The Defence Of Indian Act’
They threw fake bombs in the assembly that only made soundand started shouting ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ and then flew someleaflets saying “It takes a loud voice to make a deaf hear” andthen he and his companions surrendered themselves to police.

FIGHTING SPIRIT
He was jailed first time atthe age of 20.
Once when he was in a jail,he did a food strike of 63days demanding sametreatment, food andfacilities as british prisonersor rich indian politicianprisoner got.
PATRIOTIC
Bhagat singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev weresentenced to death on 7th oct 1930.
They started shouting slogans
“Inquilab Zindabad”
“ Down Down Union Government”
“Up Up National Flag”
“Down With British Imperialism”
He kissed the gallows on 23rd march1931 at 7:00 pm in Lahore jail.
