Blended Learning And Informal Learning Made Easier

Blended(Hybrid)- the combination of technology and face to face interactive learning

Virtual Learning- Online training that provided trainees with a three-dimensional learning experience

Team Training- individuals are placed together to achieve a common goal as a team.

Cross Training - understanding the importance of another team member’s duty

Team Leader Training- diffuse situations amongst teams and how to handle conflict.

Action Learning- team is given a task that they must complete. The team learns through creating a plan of action and application.

Six Sigma Training- An action program that provides employees with defect reducing tools to cut costs and certifies employees as green belts, champions or blacks belts.

Managing Diversity- creating an environment that allows all employees to contribute to organizational goals and experience personal growth.

2 Types of Diversity Training:• Attitude awareness and change programs• Behavior-based programs

2 Goals of Diversity Training and Inclusion:

• Eliminate values, stereotypes, and managerial practices that inhibit employees’ personal development .

• Allow employees to contribute to organizational goals regardless of their race, sexual orientation, gender, family status, religious orientation, or cultural background.

Learning Management System – is a technology platform that automates a company’s training program. It is used for online courses, registering for courses, and tracking who has completed training.

Group-or Team Building methods- Used to improve a team’s effectiveness. These are training methods designed so that a team can share ideas; experiences, build a culture and identity, and most importantly understand the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.

Adventure learning- Develops teamwork and leadership skills using structure outdoor activities. This type is very tedious and strenuous outdoor challenges: improving self-awareness, problem solving conflict management and risk taking.

Motivation to learn- the desire of the trainee to learn the content of the training program.
