Introduction

India -- (May 28, 2015) – Two dozen high ranking members of the Indian National Bar Association (INBA) will be traveling to Washington, D.C. and New York City in mid-June with hopes of fostering new business and legal opportunities and mutually beneficial relationships to encourage commerce between India and the United States. Among its members will be prominent government officials in the Indian government such as Minister of Finance, Maharashtra, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Ram Jethmalani etc.

As part of the delegation’s visit, it will partake in panel discussions with top international law firms such as Covington & Burling, Crowell & Moring, and Hodgson Russ. Topics discussed by the panels will include a myriad of international business and trade issues. Keynote speakers will also be offering prescient insights on the India-US business climate. Guidance on content and reception arrangements has been fulfilled with the informed expertise provided by the U.S. India Business Council (USIBC). Other sponsors for the delegation events include Covington & Burling, Hodgson Russ, and Dentons.
