I work in a team of 6 including 3 Information Officers and 1 Knowledge Manager and I perform the following:
● Subscriptions management including acquisitions and cataloguing including ordering of books.
● Running international company searches via 7Side, CRO Info and various online databases.
● Setting up new journal subscriptions. ● Processing invoices for book orders, looseleafs, journals and
company international searches.● Processing the monthly department credit card so the right charges
are applied to the correct matter/department. ● Ensuring catalogue records are accurate and current on the
library’s information management database (KnowAll).● Carrying out legal and business research enquiries as required.● Running press tracks/compiling newsletters using Lexis Publisher● Running the Library Helpdesk twice a week, fielding enquiries and
helping out with enquiries.● To contribute to the trainee induction programme (twice a year) as
required.● Other ad hoc jobs as and when required, supporting the Head of
Information Services and the Information Officers.● Opening/sorting post.● Booking in journals, circulating and filing them.● Shelving books/journals in main and satellite libraries, and ensuring
they are kept tidy, and carrying out regular book raids.● Day-to-day intranet maintenance including updating and creating
pages, adding links and web parts, re-organisation of content and modifying lists; using Sharepoint 2010 as well as the creation of wikis.
● Administrative duties connected to the Oracle (data storage) including the indexing of documents and department know-how bulletins.

Tape Library Administrator

● Responsible for keeping the Library in order and up to date. ● Ordering blank tape stock.● Archiving material and sending it to the Storage Facility as well as
retrieving material when needed.● Organising the copying of music promos and other relevant material

● Responsible for the logging in and out of new tapes into the building and making sure they went to the right Edit Suites/Staff.
