How To InstallWordPress Using FTP?
WordPress is an open-source and free Web publishing application,content management system (CMS) and blogging tool built by acommunity of developers and contributors. WordPress allows users tobuild dynamic websites and blogs that may be updated, customized andmanaged from its back-end CMS and integrated application andcomponents.

WORDPRESS -HISTORY❖WordPress started in 2003 with
a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on millions of sites and seen by ten millions of people every day.

1. Buy a general Linux hosting from GoDaddy
2. Login and reach CPANEL

Option-3 BASIC STEPS :

Step 1:Download WordPress Installation Files.
Step 2: Login to cPannel
Step 3:Create Database
Step 4: Download FileZilla.
Step 5: Upload wordpress installation file to server.
Step 6:Open wordpress package in browser(www.sample.com)
(configure according to your database name and password ).
Step 7:Login in admin panel (www.sample.com/ wp-login.php).
Step 8:Visit front site and enjoy with wordpress.

Under Databases, click “MySQL Databases”

Step-3Create New Database

Enter the name of the Database in the box and click “Create Database”

Scroll down and click “Add New User”. Type username and a strong password. Click
“Create User”.

Step-4Download and Install Filezilla (already
installed) and login to your “Server”.

Step-5Now unzip the wordpress installation files, and use the FTP software to upload the files into your web
host directory.

• If you do not have FileZila, you can directly upload the zipped folder in cpanel
• Step1: Create a folder wordpress in CPanel>FileManager>Public html
• Step 2: Upload zipped content in ‘worpress; folder
• Step 3: Unzip/Extract files
• Step4: Select all extracted files and move to root (public html)

Step-6Simply go to to the URL where you uploaded WordPress. If it is in the main domain, then enter your domain name in the browser window, like yoursite.com or www.yoursite.com. You will see the language selection page. You can choose a language here so that rest of the installation is displayed in your own language. You can also use English for now and
then later change the language.

Click on the continue button to proceed.
You will now see some installation instructions. Basically WordPress will now tell you that it will need your database name, password, and mysql host information.
27Click on the ‘Let’s go’ button to continue.
WordPress will now show you a form. You need to enter the name of the database
you created earlier.

Fill in the information and then click on submit button. WordPress will now connect to your database and will show
you a success message.

Click on ‘Run the Install’ button to continue.
WordPress will now create tables in your database and then send you to the next step of the installation.
Now you need to provide some information for WordPress to setup your site. This includes site title, username, password, and admin email address.

Click on the Install WordPress button to continue. WordPress will setup your website and finish the installation.
You will see a success message showing your username. You can now click on the Log in button to sign in to your WordPress site.

Step -7Login in admin panel

Click on ‘Login’ button to continue.
Step-8Visit front site and enjoy with
“Wordpress”.
