Project Overview

General project information - summary/background

www.sarahphotogirl.com web site needs to be re-design and re-

developed, the site will do the following:

Web content management system - provide controlled access

to upload and download portfolio work.

Showcase portfolio work – Galleries, the site will give you the

control to add more galleries or delete them.

E-commerce selling work – prints will be able to be sold and all

images will have copyright protection(Right-Click Protection)

Social media integration – This will support the goal for finding

the right audience and branding.

This will be text, image video based; the mediums will be used to inform

the audiences about Sarah and her love for photography and why her

services are unique.

Communicating to the audiences

The tone will be set by using a modern and contemporary design.

Budget

I will use some of the payment I am getting to work on this project for the

framework that I will be developing within and for hosting cost’s.

Timing

If I get the 100% go ahead and start work today the site will be live on

the internet before the end of the year!

Project work flow

We are on Phase 3

Phase 1

Task 1 – Fully understand and identify goals

Clearly determine your objectives to me.

Task 2 – I will write up the objectives that have been given.

We will now both have a now clear understanding of what will be on the

websites and its functions. A list will be written up.

Phase 2

Task 3

I will begin with an evaluation of your list of goals and how we can

logically meet those goals within your desired time frame and agreed on

what will be on the website and how it will function.

Primary Elements in Defining a Project:

1. Who is Your Audience?

Scrutinizing your existing content to make sure it is still serving your

current audience.

2. What Technologies are Available?

We have a budget so I can use more technologies to get this project

done to satisfy your goals.



3. Competition

We could look at your competition in your area and evaluate they sites

and do something to set you apart from your competition.

4. Your Budget

We might have certain ambitions, but we, I have to be aware of the man

hours needed to achieve the goals set. If we find that one of the goals is

beyond budget, I will try to not don’t cross it off the list entirely we can try

and work around it. We may be able to simplify the objective and find a

creative way to meet the target.

5. Brand Presence

You’re the brand so we need solid images (and or logo) and text about

you incorporated in to the sites redesign.

Developing the Site Structure, Visual Design, and Content Strategy

Here I am not thinking about specifics of the content, but just formulating

how that content is categorized, structured, defined, and formatted.

For example, your site design needs to accommodate responsive

design; the content needs to adapt for multiple devices.

Any content that is needed your can create and pass on to me for

example logos , Images and text etc

Content Integration and Building the Site, I will build the site with all the

info and images offline
