Internal:

• Museum are not only in competition with other activities

such as sports, sight seeing, shopping but they are

increasingly in competition with each other.

• Museums are quite often only the observers of the

development of media application.

Key Assumption

• Everyone learns and plays differently and the multimedia

application supports only these different learning and playing types

Gardner: Moreover even when someone is just typing on a

keyboard, he or she can think in spatial, musical, linguistic, or

bodily intelligences“ (vgl.Weiss, 2010).

The high level of awareness about technical

innovations especial within the group of 16 – 45.

Expectations are raised by the gaming industry and

not by an educational system.

Positiv effect:

• Interaction with the object (real and virtually)

• Extending the visiting time in the room

• Recognizing of other objects

• If we know that there are different types of learning

experiences then we also have to accept that we

have different types of gaming experiences.
