The most valuable creative tool
The Human Brain vs. Computers
4 Powers of the Brain
The Ugly Truth
Attacking Negative thoughts
The Human Brain is probably the only thing
in existence that can NOTbe improved on
HUMAN BRAINVS.
COMPUTERS
Are high speed moron that only carry out orders which are fed to it
Only understands mathematical calculations and mechanical comparisons
Can waltz through reams of problems, almost instantaneously save you days even months of laborious figuring
Are only as good as the person programming it
Can’t make valuedjudgments
Has enormous mental power and the intelligence to explore and utilize it
Captures, Stores, Recallsand Programs more than 600 bits of informationper second
In the course of a lifetime, the brain would have gathered billions and billions of bits of information and impressions, as against the computer who gathers only a few million characters in its memory bank
The Computer is among the most sophisticated electronic systems yet devised, however, it’s extremely limited in its abilities and it falls far short of the Human Brain because it can
NOT THINK!
HUMAN BRAIN
… this happens when you engage the 5 senses of the body, see, hear, feel,
taste and smell to open the gate way to the mind to take in information
…this is the ability to retain and recall the information we absorb.
Think of your brain is like an endless row of file cabinets and just imagine each drawer packed with all sort of
information
…the more facts we feed the brain, the more it is able to reason and judge
intelligently
…this is the ability to think creatively
How many of you tried flying as a child?
How many felt if they tried hard enough, they will eventually be blessed with super powers?
How many wanted to be rich enough to buy all the toys they ever wanted?
Growing older means STOP IMAGINING
Growing older means CONFORMITY
Growing older means TAKE NO CHANCES
Growing older means PLAY IT SAFE
Growing older means FOLLOW THE CROWD
As we grow older, we are discouraged from using
the IMAGINATIVE POWER we spent our childhood cultivating…we are made to feel uncomfortable when we imagined the unseen or the unthinkable
1. It won’t work
2. It’s never been done before
3. we always do it this way
…and so on…
Idea killers
stifle creativity!
Other people use it on you
You use it on other people
You use it on yourselves (this is the worst)
You KILL your own ideas before they’re given a
chance to prove themselves
NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
Ideas come fromAnyone
Anywhere
And at anytime
Ideas, like babies, don’t pick their parents…so be
the SPONGE
Ideas demand CARE and
ATTENTION
They can be crushed all too
easily
Let people and their ideas grow in your presence, by constant
encouragement. ..when you do, you’re using your four brain
powers the way they were meant to be used
So, absorb, recall, judge, and imagine …when you
consciously use this formula for a while, it quickly becomes a habit and, it’s a habit you’ll
be pleased to have
Plssssssssssssssssss
use your mind to the fullest, it won’t wear out
because the brain thrives on exercise
THE END!
