1. Following activities have been conducted regarding, '31 May 2015 to celebrate WNTD' in the spirit of EDO-H letter to celebrate WNTD for a week.
2. The meeting of the district implementation & monitoring committee ( DI&MC) on tobacco control, Gujranwala

The objectives of the meeting were to review, the progress made to implement the tobacco control activities & tobacco control laws in district Gujranwala and discuss the future strategies for enforcement of tobacco control laws in Gujranwala, Distribution of booklets with signage of 'WNTD 31 May 2015'.

Executive District Officer Health’s Letters to all Health related Departments to celebrate 31st May as a WNTD

District Officer Coordination (DOC) on the behalf of DCO issue the letter to all District Government Departments regarding implementation of tobacco control Laws and control illicit tobacco products/ sale to under 18

To share the previous activities and celebrate WNTD”With Electronic & Print Media, Gujranwala. To orientate electronic and print media on hazards of tobacco use, Second hand tobacco smoke, Third hand smoke, Sheesha and Tobacco Control Laws.The role of electronic and print media in this regard.Highlight the issues regarding tobacco control in larger public interest.
•To celebrate “WNTD” through awareness session/distribution of booklets and walk for College Staff, students and general public to sensitize them on hazards of tobacco use, Second hand tobacco smoke/ Sheesha and Tobacco Control.
