• Air Pollution/Noise Mitigation

– Turner subcontracts include compliance with the requirements of the Standard Conditions of Approval and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

– Regular discussion/reminder during Turner’s safety orientation and weekly subcontractor meetings

– Monitoring by an independent consultant

• Air Pollution/Noise Mitigation

– Sample Jobsite Enforcement

• Sufficient watering of exposed surfaces

• Shutting off equipment when not in use or reduce idling time to 5 minutes (CCR Title 13, Section 2485)

• All construction equipment and trucks to be equipped with NOx/PM emission-reducing technology and noise control techniques (improved mufflers, etc.)

• Limit any extreme noise generating activities >90 dBAto between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm M-F
