Helvetic Clinics Budapest
The Helvetic Clinic was officially visited and accredited by the GCR team in September 2015, and demonstrated the largest improvements in the levels of expertise, services, facilities and review score than any other clinic in the GCR index over the past 12 months.
The team continue to work hard in providing a truly "world-class" dental facility.
It's wonderful to:
1. be in a medical clinic but not feel like you're in a hotel 2. to be in a hotel and not to feel like you're in a medical clinic
Helvetic Dental Clinic have got it just right with their unique blend of a top hotel and dental clinic. The premises are excellently thought out and not to forget the ample on-site dental lab (the heart of any dental clinic) which has excellent communication and support for both patients and doctors.
Helvetic Dental Clinics Building in Budapest has been awarded the 2nd "Best Property Development in 2015 as well as "highly commended" as an International medical tourism hotel of the year in the IMTJ 2016 awards.
It's obvious that the clinic owners have given much thought into including many "best practices" - both medical and nonmedical into their new premises, which has moved the Helvetic Clinic" in Budapest towards being a strong international player in the dental tourism market. Hence the GCR is proud to fully certify the Helvetic Clinic to the International Accredited Standards.

Vital Europe Budapest
The Vital Europe Dental Clinic was officially visited and accreddited by the GCR team in May 2014. VitalEurope's Budapest clinic is located on the Buda side of the city, offering a complete range of dental treatment from operative dentistry and placing dental implants through preservative and prosthetic dentistry to orthodontic treatment.
This nine-chair clinic is proud of its high-tech treatment such as CT, professional polishing with airflow; long-lasting tooth-whitening using the most effective equipment; advanced endodontic methods using the latest instruments; extremely precise preparation of teeth with the aid of microscopes etc. using the newest generation equipments.
Radio photography is done in the clinic. It is done by either a CT scan that produces full 3D reconstruction in less than 20 seconds or takes the form of digital intra-oral and panoramic X-ray photographs stored on computer, which are made available to our patients in print-form, on CD, or by e-mail.
In this way, every step of the treatment is saved and stored in VitalEurope's up-to-date computer system. The Budapest dental clinic covers more than 1000m2 and is a luxurious environment featuring spacious, air-conditioned waiting rooms with Internet access and well-equipped treatment rooms manned by highly-qualified dentists.

Kreativ Dental Budapest
The Kreativ Dental clinic was officially visited and accreddited by the GCR team twice, the last time in May 2014. Kreativ Dental has now over 17 years experience as one of the first established "dental travel" clinics within Budapest, and is well renowned internationally. The clinic is located in a sole-purpose multistorey building in the suburbs of Budapest including a training centre, a dental lab, patient restaurant and garden.
The dental team is headed by the Maxillo-Facial Dental Surgeon Dr Louis Patonay working with the clinics since 1998 supported by Janos Rendetzky, a master ceramist in their on-site Vita certified laboratory. The main core of the Kreativ dental team has been working for more than 10 years together including the dentists and the dental technicians, therefore efficiency and quality management has been maximized, and the team now has 11 translators and patient managers to support their patients.
Added services for patients include free airport and hotel transfers, that can be arranged from their 24hr support desk located directly in Bupapest airport arrivals hall. Travel & accommdation costs are included in their gurantee policy.

German Dental Clinic in Hungary Mosonmagyaróvár
The German Dental Clinic in Hungary (previously known as HD Dental) is headed by the experienced dental specialist - Dr. Kannmann from Germany. It was visited and accredited by the GCR team in December 2014. It is a rather small team & practice compared to many of the top ranking GCR clinics, however proves to have consistent results through ISO & TEMOS certification and a high number of patient reviews.
The clinic is situated in the town centre, within walking distance from the shops, restaurants, spas and hotels. The clinic also organises local tourist trips for their clients, with a highly personalized service.
Dr. Kannmann is one of the most active specialists in the GCR Index, with worldwide experience & education in many specilizations, a good choice of clinic for those who prefer a close relationship with a single doctor and smaller team in a quiet environment.

Implantcenter Budapest
Situated in downtown Buda (across the river from the "Pest" part of Budapest) you'll find the implantcenter clinic housed in a dated multi-storey townhouse. Parking here was very difficult, as the clinic is on a very busy street, but a great location for those planning to have a "dental holiday".
The Implant Center is part of a group of 5 dental clinics spread across Europe, led by Dr Attila Kaman & team who focus on dental implantology cases.
The interior is very stylish and as found in all GCR accredited clinics, there is an on-site lab support and CT-scan support for diagnostics.

MDental Clinic Hungary Budapest
MDental was officially visited & accredited by the GCR team in August 2015. MDental is housed in a new 2,600m2 multi-purpose clinic directly in the city center of Budapest, just a few meters from one of the main railway stations.
It is very encouraging to see that they are equipped with the facilities to deal with any dental medical problem. I was impressed that the doctors actually go personally meet every patient, and that there is a special VIP area and recovery room facility. Patients accomodation is not on site, but in local. MDental is a part of Medicover - one of the largest medical chains in Hungary therefore patients can be sure of the highest level of service and medical support.

Access Smile Budapest
The Access Smile Clinic was officially visited and accreditted in March 2013 by the GCR team. A bright and cheerful clinic located in a shopping centre in the Budapest suburbs, featuring all the ncessary services, facilities & expertise needed to be a GCR accredited clinic.
The have a partner clinic in Dubin, however it is not GCR accredited yet.
What the Budapest clinic lacks in size, is made up for in friendliness and a fair, transparent approach to all patients - which our team saw firsthand during their visit.

The GCR is an independent start-up that evaluates healthcare clinics worldwide that have their own website, are mentioned in medical clinic directories or have at least 5 reviews on an independent website. These clinics are automatically added to the GCR index and scored upon the publically available information given about each clinic. Verified clinics have had their clinic information updated by the clinic owner or member of staff, or have been personally inspected by a GCR representative. Certified clinics have been personally inspected by a GCR representative, and have had consultation support to collect and improve on any missing or weak data. The Global Clinic Ranking employs 100's of carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the GCR Score for any particular clinic in the following areas: Clinic Expertise: This includes how long the clinic has been in existence at it's current location, the clinic accreditations, awards and certifications, how long the doctors have worked in their chosen medical fields, and their medical studies and accreditations. Clinic Facilities: This includes both diagnostic & treatment technology available, as well as non-medical facilities. Clinic Services: This includes both medical & non-medical services that the clinic provides to it's patients. Patient Feedback: The total & average score of the clinics reviews across various independent websites, such as Facebook, Google+, Yelp and medical clinic focused review sites.
