Music Magazine Masthead’s
This masthead for Vibe magazine is bold writing. It is a large font in capital letters which makes the title stand out to the reader.
By having a plain font with no pattern, it means that they can change colours or patterns on the font which allows it to match the issue of the magazine.
By having a simple but bold font, it means that it is easy to remember the audience will immediately remember the masthead for the magazine.
What audience would read this magazine?The audience of this magazine would be
rap/R&B fansThe audience would be a younger generationThe audience will be majority working-class
and some middle-class
This masthead is more creative and wild. The letters are capital and bold which shows that it stands out. The pattern in the font makes it stand out more and more memorable for the reader.
The exclamation mark at the end of the word shows that it is exaggerated and shouted. It shows that it is bold and that the genre of the music magazine is rock or metal.

masthead shows that it is a more chilled out modern masthead. It shows that the genre is more of a popular genre such as house or hip-hop.
The Kerrang magazine masthead is more crazy and stands out more. The exclamation mark shows the loudness of the masthead showing that the genre of the masthead is more based around rock, metal and alternative.
