Creativity Key points of idea generation:

o Along with damage of properties earthquake keeps long lasting mental health effects on individual involved.

o Mental health problem are combination of abnormal thoughts, emotions, behavior and relationships such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Personality disorder.

o These kind of disorders can lead to the suicidal thoughts.

Cont… Solution to the problem:

o Exact identification of the problem by cross sectional study on affected areas with pretested questionnaire followed by counseling and treatment depending upon severity of individual.

o Conduction of the Health Camp, Meditation, Psychotherapy, Counseling by the concerned authority will be recommended.

o There is no literature regarding mental health problems due to earthquake.

o It is completely new idea to explore the mental health problem occurred aftermath of quake.

Feasibility o There is prevalence of mental health disorders due

to earthquake.

o Qualitative and quantitative data will be collected in affected areas with collaboration of society members and consent of participants.

o Cost effective data collection can be done by going through health camp and reconstruction program.

o Meditation, psychotherapy, counseling can be conducted with minimal cost.

Impactso Data collection along with counseling will help the

participants life to reconstruct themselves.

o Identification of the mental health disorder will help concerned authority to plan and minimize abnormal thoughts, emotions, behavior and relationships.

o Development of the strong mentality and increase confident level among the people in future.

o After procurement of mental disorder mentally affected people can themselves involved in reconstruction program effectively.

Summary o Earthquake has great impacts on mental health

o Proper identification and their treatment is necessary

o It helps in the development of the strong mentality and confident level among the people in future
