The active relaxation is essentially provoked by listening to the especially composed music, through the acoustic system of the chair. The music is not only perceived by the ears, but also throughout the whole body. The low frequencies put the muscles in resonance to provoke a spontaneous relaxation. The architecture and proportions of the chair create a feeling of total immersion in the music. The music envelops all the body and seems to come from everywhere, even at low volume. The natural shape in dual hemispheres of RelaxOne is aesthetic and ergonomic. It works preferably in opened position, but the superior element can be closed for an increased protection against environmental disturbances. The armchair rests on an omni- directional air suspension that amplifies the natural movements of the body to create a spontaneous rocking effect. HOW IT WORKS

Psychoacoustic stimulation is based on the natural function of the brain. Precisely defined stereophonic sounds are sent to each ear, together with special music. The difference of these sounds creates frequencies similar to those sent out by the brain.

These frequencies characterize the different states of consciousness such as attention, sleep, dream or relaxation. The brain then interprets the psychoacoustic stimulation as an induction to deep relaxation. The psychoacoustic stimulation combined with special music works on a physiological and natural basis. No training is required.

The individual’s free will and lucidity are not affected during the session. The two cerebral hemispheres tend to converge to a perfect synchronization as shown below.

RESULTS AFTER SIX MINUTES
