Call Health Links
1. A free service provided by the province of Manitoba.
2. You can speak to a nurse about your health concern on the phone.
3. The nurse will give you advice about what to do.
4. The service is available 24 hours a day. Everyday!

When should I call Health Links
1. Call when your situation is not life threatening .
2. Call when going to a walk-in clinic or calling the doctor is not an option.
For example, in the middle of the night.

Go to a Walk-in Clinic
• You can speak to an experienced nurse or doctor about minor issues such as cuts, bruises and burns.
• An appointment is usually not necessary.

1.Your problem is not an emergency.
2.You can’t wait to see your doctor, but you need care now

Their grandson, Thomas, is visiting them for
the weekend. Thomas has a mild stomach
ache. It is Saturday night.
