•People often delve into advanced courses when beginning to practice yoga, which means that they may never gain real mastery of basic poses. By going to a class designed for beginners, individuals can receive the attention they need to correct their alignment and become comfortable with the most common poses. Individuals should also tell instructors about any injuries or illnesses, so that they can suggest modifications during class.
