Every human being wants to live with beautiful smile. Unfortunately, every individual is not born with it.
Everyday there are a lot of people suffering from misaligned teeth. They need to get rid of this major
dental pain. This is the reason now more and more people are having success with clear orthodontic
devices called aligners.
Hidden braces use brackets connected by wires to encourage teeth to move. They are placed behind
teeth and gradually move its alignment gradually. Dental aligners are a series of tight-fighting custom
made retainers that slip over the teeth. But they are not suitable for everyone. Your orthodontist will
help you decide what is best for you.
Who is suitable to get invisible aligners?
Invisible braces are custom built for a tight fit, they are best for adults and teenagers. However,
straightening a child’s dental alignment is more difficult than normal one. Young people and their mouth
are still growing and developing, the doctor much think about this when setting up treatment.
Clear orthodontic aligners are typically used for patients who have mild or moderately crowded, or have
minor spacing issues. Now patients who have severe crowding or spacing problems or severe under
bites, overbites or cross bites may need more complex treatment.
How do they work?
Once a dentist or orthodontist decides how to correct your bite, they will make a plan for moving your
teeth. If you get the clear aligners, you will be fitted for several versions that make sight adjustments to
move your jaw over the treatment time.
They are made from a clear plastic or acrylic material and fit tightly, but can be removed for eating,
brushing and flossing. You will get a new aligner every few weeks to continue moving the jaw into the
desired position. However, treatment processes are normally set by the dentist or orthodontist. They
are little bit expensive than traditional braces.
How long does it take time?
Dental braces treatment with aligners is based on how much the teeth need to be moved. The more
your bite is off the more crooked your teeth, the longer it will take. Treatment time usually takes
between 10 to 24 months after starting the treatment. But if you are an adult who had aligners as a
child, and your teeth shifted slightly over the years, you may need invisible aligners for as little as 10
weeks. So it is depending on your alignment.
Apart from that, hidden braces are not as precise as traditional braces. These are aesthetic, convenient
than traditional. There are many patients who may require a refinement of their jawbone using brackets
for a few months to make other, smaller adjustments at the end of the orthodontic care.
Furthermore, correcting crooked teeth is not about just correcting your smile perfect. It is also required
to make your dental structure healthy. It will help to protect your teeth in future. You will definitely get
better results after using braces. Your friends will get astonished when they see your teeth with
beautiful smile.
