According to National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy
"aromatherapy also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit."
These essential oils are natural oils extracted from herbs, flowers and fruits to naturally enhance psychological and physical wellbeing as well as it has a synergistic effect with massage therapy.
How does aromatherapy works?
Aromatherapy can be inhaled and applied on skin.
Inhalation:Inhalation of essential oil molecules by the nose and absorbed by tiny receptor cells. Signaling the olfactory organ in the brain and stimulates the limbic system, also known as the emotional center of our brain. This essential oils can exert a powerful effect on mood, mind and emotions.
