Challenges of Healthcare in Developing Countries

Statistically, only 2 trained professionals are available for 1000 local healthcare seekers. In addition,100 million tourists visit developing countries on a yearly basis.

Both patients and healthcare professionals are challenged by transactional issues

About 1 billion healthcare seekers in developing countries lack access to healthcare.

6 billions of the world’s health workers are located in developing countries, with insufficient access to educational or training material.

36 million people die each year from inaccessibility to any form of care, or to adequate healthcare (from adequately trained professionals).
