Vasquez Chairman of the Board National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Health Luis has served as the president of the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Acting Chairman of the Nassau County Heritage Festival, and a member of the Glen Knights of Columbus, the Nassau County Hispanic Parade Committee, the Molloy Multicultural Advisory Committee and Hofstra for Hempstead. Mr. Vazquez is co-owner of Casa De Vinos, which imports quality fine wine from Chile and Latin America. 7. Perlman President, GNYHA Ventures, Inc and Executive Vice President, Administration Greater New York Hospital Association Lee Perlman is President of GNYHA Ventures, Inc., a wholly owned, for-profit subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA). Over the past 25 years, Lee has been responsible for the development of GNYHA Ventures business entities, which have grown to 11 companies serving more than 20,000 customers across the United States, and nearly $10 billion in commerce. Lee is also GNYHAs Executive Vice President of Administration and is the Chief Financial Officer. 8. Zeppenfelt-Cestero Chair, Roundtable of Hispanic Professional Health Associations President Association of Hispanic Healthcare Executives President National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Health Mr. Zeppenfeldt has been a leading advocate in health care, small business development, and diversity for over 20 years. His advocacy in these areas resulted in his selection in 1995 as one of the 100 Influential Leadersby Hispanic Business magazine. He has addressed diversity in the healthcare workforce on the 2004 Congressional Hispanic Caucus Policy Institute Health Care Panel and for the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. 9. JUNE 16, 2014 Master of Ceremonies Lynda Baquero Consumer Reporter NBC 4 New York Emmy-award winning Lynda Baquero is NBC 4 New Yorks consumer reporter. Lyndas Better Get Baquero segments resolve consumer complaints and provide updates on the latest consumer alerts and can be seen Monday through Thursday during the 5 p.m. newscast. Friday is Freebie Friday where Lynda informs viewers about free deals on upcoming events, dining, fashion, beauty and pet products. Baquero is also host of the long- running series Visiones. Each week she highlights issues that affect the Hispanic community by presenting informative conversations from newsmakers, community leaders and celebrities. 10. JUNE 16, 2014 Keynote Introduction Honorable Melissa Mark-Viverito Speaker, NYC Council Melissa Mark-Viverito currently serves as the Speaker of the New York City Council, the first Puerto Rican and Latina to hold a citywide elected position. She represents the 8th District, which includes El Barrio/East Harlem and the South Bronx. Speaker Mark-Viverito was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She worked for over a decade in local activism, nonprofit organizations and labor before being elected to the City Council in 2005, as the first Puerto Rican woman and Latina to represent her district in the Council. 11. Schneiderman was elected the 65th Attorney General of New York State on November 2, 2010. As Attorney General, Schneiderman is the highest ranking law enforcement officer for the State, responsible for representing New York and its residents in legal matters. Schneiderman has worked to restore the publics faith in its public and private sector institutions by focusing on areas including public integrity, economic justice, social justice and environmental protection. She pioneered the Hispanic Googler Network in New York upon joining Google in 2006 and helped to launch some of the first health related channels on YouTube through her previous work with Johnson & Johnson. 17. JUNE 16, 2014 Up and Coming Executives of the Year Kimlee Roldan-Sanchez, MPA Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer New York Presbyterian Healthcare System and Regulatory Planning Kimlee Roldan-Sanchez, MPA has been with NewYork- Prebyterian for 15+ years in various capacities. She leads the hospitals regulatory planning initiatives, serving as a key liaison to the various state and federal regulatory agencies. In her current role she oversees and provides guidance on all regulatory filings with the state, including NYSDOH, NYSOMH and OASAS on behalf of the Hospital, as well as provides guidance on interpretations of regulations. 18. Assistant Vice President, Radiology/Cardiovascular Services Lutheran Medical Center Wilson Davila, MBA, RT. started his career in Radiology over 23 years ago as a X-ray Technologist. In 2006 he joined Lutheran Medical Center and has served as an Administrative Director of Radiology, and Executive Director of Imaging. He is currently the Assistant Vice President of Radiology and Cardiovascular Services. He manages the diagnostic imaging services in addition to Radiation Oncology and the Video Epilepsy Program. 19. She started in a clerical position while attending college and quickly decided to pursue a career in healthcare management. She has held various Director level positions at Montefiore throughout the years and is currently their Radiology Director of Finance and Business Development. She manages a very busy radiology practice that consists of 14 sites and performs over 600,000 imaging studies per year. She has a strong background in business operations, customer service, project management and overall revenue cycle. 22.
