So, why were there no humans infected in BC????
• The viruses were different strains!
Canada’s Response(To ensure the continued success of the poultry market in our country)
Because some of the virus found in BC was highly pathogenic, there was potential for it to transmit to humans. However, due to Canada’s response strategy, this did not happen.

CO2 gas trucks are seen here gassing the barns to destroy the chickens. All barn doors and vents are completely sealed.
Seen here are laying hens and turkeys after being gassed. This is what producers were left with.
