Ten Easy Tips

We all know how important Water Conservation is, for ourcurrent and future generation. Here are 10 simple tips toconserve water.

1. Leaking taps must be fixed immediately2. Taps must be kept off during shaving & brushing teeth3. To water plants you may collect water from your roof,

use fallen ice-cubes, use fish-tank water anduse left-over water from cleaning utensils.

4. While shampooing your hair turn off the tap5. Cut down on the number of utensils to be washed

6. Wash fruits and vegetables in a pan of water instead of running water from the tap.

7. While washing hands open the tap only after you have soaped your hand, not while soaping & lathering

8. Try to shorten your shower by a minute or two9. Wash your pets and your car outdoors in an area of your

lawn that needs water

10. When you give your pet fresh water, don't throw the old water down the drain but use it to water your trees or shrubs
