I feel the general conventions and aspects of the trailer could have been a bit more focused and precise, I feel this way because the audience feedback showed that quite a few people believed the trailer was a horror and the same amount believed it was a science fiction. The films genre is a science fiction with horror aspects, therefor the balance between the two showed that it did the desired job of being a science fiction film and also perhaps scaring people however it reflects that there could have been more clear signs and conventions that clearly display the main science fiction genre of the film.

The next question in the survey was asking how each person felt while watching the trailer. The most common comment here was the curiosity that many had as to what caused the disappearance of humans. This was defiantly something I was trying to convey through the trailer which is why I tried to include a variety of different search scenes and also abandoned locations to promote and show the idea that every person had gone from the planet. Many also were curios as to how the main character would cope and deal with the situation he is in. I feel the feedback from this question was very positive.

In the next question, I asked if the audience felt there was anything missing from the trailer at all. The majority felt there was nothing missing from it and that it had everything a trailer really needed. However some had mixed feelings. From this I learned that I could have included some more clearer clues as to where everyone had disappeared to or what caused them to disappear as some felt this was lacking in the trailer and could have been showed a little bit.

As for the length of the trailer, 90% of the feedback believed it was fine and that the time was alright. However 10% thought it was to short. I feel that there could have been another scene added to the trailer or I could have made the beginning family compilation longer with more people in it and also in a variety of different locations and places. Most film trailers are around three minutes long therefor my trailer length is around average.

The next question was if those who watched the trailer would go and see the film afterwards. 100% of people said that they would. I am very happy with this feedback as it shows clearly that the trailer I created was able to entertain and grip audiences meaning I was able to create a good and entertaining trailer that appeals to audiences.

The next question was about the concept of the films and whether it was clear or not. The majority felt the concept was clear however some felt it wasn't. This shows me that I could have included some extra scene evaluating the information I discovered and also trying to convey that there was something wrong and different with the main character resulting in him not disappearing along with everyone else. I feel this is defiantly something I could have included which could have changed the ending view of the whole trailer.

The final question in the survey was whether or not viewers liked the trailer. 100% said yes. This clearly shows that the trailer appealed to a variety of audiences successfully and without fail.
