That is due to the good acceptance of guinea pigs in pharmaceutical tests; which ones become biological models, given that when they reproduce the morbid conditions of the human species they allow the perfect knowledge of some physio pathologic mechanisms of certain diseases that is known today. Thanks to the importance of surgical research with animals, researchers developed the Surgical Retractor. The Surgical Retractor is an innovation in its field, because it allows the researchers the independent handling of their guinea pig, without the need of a lab auxiliary. In this way, the lacerated walls of the studied animal stay fixed and supported by this technology. The Retractor still assists the need of good visibility of the surgical field, once it promotes easy access and manipulation to the studied area, without movement. basic research pilot plant prototype production in laboratory scale 0218/2015
