DESCRIPTION
Most symptoms (e.g., pain, discomfort, and fatigue) and symptom syndromes, (e.g., irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, non-cardiac chest pain, chronic fatigue, and interstitial cystitis) cannot be explained by medical testing. They are called, "medically unexplained symptoms," (MUS) and "functional somatic syndromes," respectively. Everyone hurts with these symptoms and symptom syndromes, which are commonly linked to depression and anxiety. Patients, doctors, and other caring professionals throughout the world are frustrated and dissatisfied. Not everybody realizes that s/he has the power to discover what's behind their symptoms in order to find health. Our new book entitled, "Still Hurting? Discover What's Behind Your Symptoms (that doctors can't explain) to FIND HEALTH" provides a means for this self-discovery. It contains a new model of health, which is unique because it does not narrowly focus upon a single branch of knowledge to decipher why people are still hurting. Instead, it comprehends that it is the integration of modern science, medicine, psychology, spirituality, and religion, which provides the basis for understanding why people are symptomatic and how they can find health.
