I have been involved in selling medical equipment for over 30 years now and cannot

remember when I last had a reaction to a product like we had to the new Signos RT. I

am really please that you guys took on board what we were saying and invested the

money in developing the new device. It really is going to be a great ride

From a technical aspect, the sonographers scanned a few patients while we were

there and used their existing £150,000.00 units as a comparison. Once they got used

to holding the larger scan head, they found what they were looking for without any

problems at all. They then compared the images obtained on both devices and

everything echo they saw on the big device was shown on the RT in comparable

detail. They were really impressed and kept saying that they could not believe such a

small device could give such high quality images.

During our training of the midwives who are going to be evaluating the unit, a

number of other doctors arrived to look at the device. They were from Gynae,

Obstetrics, Urology, etc. and all suggested additional uses for the device. Quite a few

would have bought units from me there and then if I would have had stock.

All I can say is "WOW". The reaction was really fantastic. They had a woman who

was 12 weeks and they had no problem finding the foetus and doing a Crown-Rump

measurement. The quality of the images were very well received and the accuracy of

the measurement was spot-on against the £150,000.00 system. Three of the

Midwives used the scanner and all had no problems in finding exactly what they

were looking for.
