Pressure, irritation and damage to the nerves and and tendons that pass thru a channel (the “tunnel”) formed by eight small wrist bones protecting the median nerve

Symptoms include pain, numbness, tingling, or burning in the fingers, hand, or forearms.

Computing related CTS is caused by repetitive motion while while the wrist is either flexed (bent with the palm lower then the wrist) or extended ( bent with the palm higher then the wrist)
