Leadership in Compassionate Care Programme
NHS Lothian and Edinburgh Napier University
An action research programme adopting appreciative inquiry and relational approaches to care. Aim is to embed compassionate care within practice and the undergraduate curriculum by understanding and responding to the experience of patients, relatives and staff.
We adopted creative approaches to help us understand the nebulous concept of compassionate care ........... then importantly enhance practice & care experience.
