RESEARCH HIV/AIDS-Related Knowledge and Attitudes

of Palestinian Women in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, (2007). 93.4% of the women respondents heard of HIV TV was the main source of information (92.3%) Discrepancies in knowledge regarding modes of

prevention (avoiding blood transfusion, condoms, lower number of partners… )

TESTING AND TREATMENT

12 district clinics and 2 drop in centers

Medication is provided through “AIDS clinic” operated by NAP + psychosocial support

17 out of 21 cases are receiving ART
