• Director is member of Ministry of AYUSH National Board of Y&N, International Day of Yoga, National DM and Yoga prog, ICH & CCRYN. Boards of CYAI, IYA & advisor IAYT & AAYT. 22 books, 19 DVDs with h-index 17 and i10-index 32. 1st C- IAYT certified in India.
• Deputy Director is first Pondicherrian to complete her PhD in Yoga. Extensive experience in Yoga for geriatric population and special children. She is C-IAYT certified & is an Examiner for QCI through IYA

Yoga Education
• MPhil in Yoga Therapy, PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) & Certificate Courses in Yoga Therapy are unique as they are offered through a modern medical institution through CBCS.
• PhD from 2017 onwards.• International interest in the course.• Regular training for students, faculty members, senior citizens,
special children and TG population. • MCI (1997) suggested incorporation of Yoga in MBBS. We are
amongst the 1st to implement it for MBBS as well as BDS, BSc Nursing and AHS students.
• CYTER model can be adopted by all innovative medical colleges when new MCI regulations are implemented. 8

• These courses are designed to develop broad understanding of Yoga and Yoga therapy as well as clinical applications of Yoga therapy in different medical conditions.
• Four certificate courses with 8 credits each are being offered. – Foundations of Yoga (CFY)– Foundations of Yoga therapy (CFYT)– Applications of Yoga (CAY)– Clinical Applications of Yoga Therapy (CCAYT)
• Participants obtain requisite skills to function independently and assist a therapist.

Clinical Yoga Therapy • Yoga is usually found in Physical Education & Sports depts. • Usually given in general and non-disease specific manner• We at CYTER have it in a medical institution – enhancing the learning curve of our trainees – enabling us to offer holistic benefits for patients – creating awareness amongst medical professionals
• Daily OPD consultations, individual & group sessions • Yoga consultations in all Master Health checkups offered by
our Hospital services and IP wards• ~ 42,000 participants in targeted individualized and small
group (~ 18,000) & salutogenic (~ 24,000) general sessions 15

Opthalmology, Dermatology , Obstetrics & Gynecology– Special children and Transgender community.
