PARENTS
Researchers found that parent-enduring stress may buy more fast food for the family in order to save time, or decrease demands of meal arrangements.
The clean your plate mentality: kids may be full and start to consume more calories than is needed for them.
Poor meal choices: choose drive thru over cooking at home. Lack of supervision in school lunches: having the school gives your
kids food that is high in fats and calories and low in nutrition. Parents don’t encourage their kids to play sports, but allow them to
watch TV, play video games Setting poor examples: not doing what is right for your self, but expect
the kids to do so. The kids adapt to their parents habits
FAST FOODS
Studies have shown that by eating fast food it could lead to a shortened life expectancy
Kids between 6-14 eat fast food 157,000,000 times a month
39% of teen parents eat five servings a day eat fast foods at least once a daily
Make Fast Food companies make their advertisements more informative of the product they’re promoting

TECHNOLOGY
Transportation that is more advanced People don’t even need to go to restaurants anymore, why??
Because they deliver now! Snacks during a movie or shows on TV, they don’t make
good healthy choices. Think about even the TV, you don’t even have to get up, you
just click and the channels will change to want you desire. Parents don’t even need to go get their groceries because
now they got online shopping. People today socialize, meet their lovers online and play
online interacting games without moving a muscle.
HOW TO GET PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE Do things that fun such as Zumba, Wii, Kinect People can buy things for exercise such as nice shoes
cute exercise outfit Motivation In the community we can get individuals and family's to
compete against each other (something like who can do what the best)
SOLUTIONS FOR OBESITY In fact, eating right and exercising isn’t easy — even for people
with the resources. It’s especially hard for members of hard-to-reach, high-risk populations.
At home, turning off the TV, preparing nutritious meals for the whole family and engaging in simple exercise are key initial steps.
Come together as a community and exercise, with entertainment Restaurants can also play a leading role in fighting obesity by
putting nutrition information on menus, cooking with healthier ingredients and offering more reasonable portion sizes.
For systemic change, we must address the obesity issue where people live, work and play by making comprehensive, sustainable policy and environmental changes.
