Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday 1. Set up an adoption display table at your place of worship. Display information about international and domestic adoption programs

2. Become a fan of Gladney on Facebook and join all the various pages! Gladney is also on MySpace and Linked In.

3. Ask your local government officials to issue a proclamation recognizing November as National Adoption Month

4. Donate a new outreach DVD to your local library

5. Contact your local high school newspaper advisor and see if a student would like to write a story about adoption.

6. Call Karin at 817-922-6073 for an email link to WFAA’s “Not So Perfect Parent” segments featuring Paige McCoy Smith

7. Ask a place of business if you can display a Gladney poster

8. Attend Gladney’s “Orphan Sunday” event at 4:00 PM in Mabee Hall, Broadcast live from Nashville with Steven Curtis Chapman

9. Wear a white adoption ribbon in support of NAM

10. Distribute Gladney brochures to a local Planned Parenthood or Crisis Pregnancy Center

11. Attend the Hope Award Luncheon at Gladney, honoring The Council for Life and recognizing the Dallas Gladney Family Association

12. Set up a tour of the Gladney Center with someone who can educate others about adoption. For example a minister, doctor , teacher or counselor

13. Donate children's vitamins to Gladney for the children living in orphanages

14. Wear a Gladney t-shirt

15. Request to give a testimonial about the miracle of adoption at your church. Your story is the most powerful and emotional tool you have in sharing the message of adoption

16. Write a letter to your OB/GYN office about Gladney’s lunch and learn opportunities

17. Send an outreach e-mail to friends and family. Call Karin at 817-922-6073 to have one forwarded to you

18. Send an encouraging card to Gladney birthmothers or children in orphanages (Gladney will forward it)

19. Wear a white adoption ribbon in support of NAM

20. Take a Gladney outreach bag to a local high school and give to the counselor and nurse

21. Volunteer to take the birthmothers in Gladney’s dorm on a fun weekend outing to the mall, out to lunch or to a movie

22. Ask worship leader to say a prayer for birthmothers, adoptive parents, children living in orphanages and children living in foster care

23. Read an adoption story book to your child's class

24. Distribute Gladney brochures to a local Crisis Pregnancy Center

25. Donate an adoption book and Gladney outreach DVD to your local library

26. Wear a white adoption ribbon in support of NAM

27. Send in all your outreach forms to Karin.matula @gladney.org

28. Wear a Gladney t-shirt

29. Wear a white adoption ribbon in support of NAM

30. Take Gladney brochures to your family doctor’s office
