PROGRAM BENEFITNew Horizons in Anesthesiology has provided practicing anesthesiologists,CRNA’s and anesthesia assistants with the latest information about a variety ofanesthesia topics for 26 years. Our new format with three didactic lecturesand Q & A in each session was a big success and will be repeated this year.Thirty different topics will be presented by experts in their fields. Early morning and late afternoon sessions allows for ample time on the slopes orrelaxing.Topics were chosen by the impact they would have on improvingpatient care. These topics include pediatric and obstetric anesthesia, airwaymanagement, pain management, cardiothoracic and ICU, regional anesthesia, safety and quality in anesthesia care.

At the conclusion of this program, the participant should be able to:1. Use evidence-based strategies in the anesthetic management of all patients 2. Integrate new knowledge and skills in their clinical practice to improve

patient care 3. Incorporate patient quality, safety and outcome measures into their practice

for better patient care and patient satisfaction 4. Apply knowledge gained to improve clinical efficiency and safety to maintain

a successful practice in a changing healthcare arena
