Low carb diets do not supply adequate calories for a healthy person. The average of caloric intake in our group meals was 1,436 calories, which is lower than the recommended 2000 daily calorie intake. This is good for weight loss but is it is also important that you acquire the right amount of calories.
Exercise is the key ingredient in any diet and also in living healthy. Low carb diets also have health benefits beyond losing weight. They reduce the chances of developing some cancers, reduced heart disease and diabetes. A person eating a low carb diet can still enjoy the foods that they like to eat, just have to cut the amount of carbs they eat daily.
