Can't find the time to squeeze in a workout? Would you rather be at home with the family playing ball, or building a doll house, or having the wife chase you around the bedroom? Is it really possible to lose fat and gain muscle in as little as 45 minutes/day, 3 times a week without all those fancy machines or a personal trainer? If you just need to drop a few pounds or 100, and and want to look and feel better without that expensive membership that just dangles from your keychain. If you're tired of being out of breath like me from a little game of H.O.R.S.E. with the kids out in the driveway. Not wanting to give up all your favorite foods or go on some crazy all protein diet that really jacks your system or the grapefruit juice before every meal plan that flushes everything out of your system(including the things you need).Tried some of the crazy fad diets(grapefruit diet, baby food diet, and my favorite, the cookie diet)while nixing some of your favorite foods that are actually good for you(I don't mean potato chips). Can those love handles be trimmed while adding some real muscle? I can tell you from experience, you can lose weight on some of those fad diets. Oh I lost weight alright. But the "magic" only works for short periods of time, and why do you think that is? Because they're not healthy for you. If they were healthy for you, you wouldn't have to stop eating that way in order to keep losing or maintain your weight when you get to your target. What is the easiest way that I've found to lose fat and gain muscle in less time? The best way I've found is interval training. Interval training in simplest terms is, "short bursts of high intensity work mixed with periods of low intensity work". So basically, if you do some type of weight training, you would mix in some bursts of high intensity cardio(running, jumping jacks, butt kicks, etc.) for a short period in between sets of weight training. But there's more to it than just lifting some weights and doing jumping jacks. Sorry, yes you are going to have to make some changes to some of your eating habits. Now don't get me wrong, I didn't say you can't cheat every now and then, (a slice of pizza, maybe a small blizzard instead of a large, no super sizing that meal), just keep it to a minimum if you're serious about losing fat and gaining muscle sooner rather than later. So, if you're ready to make a change, have more energy, look better, just generally feel better, then have a look at how I'm losing fat and gaining muscle.
