ANNUAL AWARDSTHE AL GEIGER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD – This $2000 scholarship, co-sponsored by the Puritan-Bennett Corporation and the NYSSRC-SEC, is presented annually to an outstanding Respiratory Care senior student in the Southeastern Chapter area. The scholarship is in memory of Al Geiger; a Puritan-Bennett Corporation representative who recognized that education was the key to a successful career. The student receiving this award has been nominated by their program director, and represents those ideals that Al worked so hard to achieve.

REGISTRATION POLICIES:

REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 7:00 AM AND 8:30 AM

* PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. Registration will end promptly at 8:30 AM.

A. Registration fees are listed in the Schedule of Fees. Only current AARC members or those who join the AARC when pre-registering will be admitted at the current member rate. All others will pay the non-member rate.

B. Members registering on-site will be required to present their AARC membership card with current sticker. Any person who does not present a current AARC member card will register as a non-member. If within one week following the symposium, proof of current AARC membership is produced, a refund for the difference between member and non-member rate will be forwarded.

C. All students are required to pay a registration fee. AARC members with student status can register at the student rate. You must present an AARC membership card with current sticker and student ID. Students who are not members of the AARC are required to pay the non-member rate. Students wishing to become members may do so in advance by contacting their program director.

D. Advance registration fees must be prepaid. No invoice will be issued.

E. REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING AND MUST BE POSTMARKED BY October 22, 2007 . A fee of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund to cover processing expenses. Refunds will not be made to an individual for fees paid by an employer's check. There will be a $20 fee associated will any returned checks.

F. On-site registration personnel cannot cash checks or give change.

ADVANCED REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Make all checks payable to NYSSRC-SEC, Inc.

If you are applying for AARC membership; please indicate this on the advanced registration form .CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Follow the instructions on the AARC application form. There is a $12.50 discount for non-student members when your AARC membership application and payment accompanies symposium registration.

BENEFITS OF ADVANCED REGISTRATION:

1. AARC members can save $25, students $20, and non-members up to $35.

2. You will save time during the registration process.
